We danced hard this weekend. We made a lot of rain. We go into this week empowered and with full hearts.
BUT, as the Women's March themselves have said, now is not the time to hang up our marching shoes.
We have proven we are powerful. We have proven we are resilient.
Now, we must prove we will act.
Do not let what you felt on Saturday, January 21st be forgotten. If the millions of us who stood up then continue to fight, there is no limit to what we can do!
Here are three simple things you can do right now to keep the fire of the revolution alive in your life:
1. Join the Women's March's next campaign: 10 Actions for the First 100 Days.
2. Text FIGHT to 668366 to receive action alerts from Move On (the largest independent progressive advocacy group in the country)'s resistance campaign.
3. Choose your media. Follow accounts that will remind you of the promise you have made to fight for equality every day. @womensmarch, @moveon, and @doyourraindance are good places to start, of course.
Happy rainmaking. xoxo.
